Mr. William (Shawn) Coakley, Athletics and Activities Director has officially announced his retirement,effective July 2, 2024. Mr. Coakley stated, “After much thought and consideration, my wife and I have made the decisionto retire. I want to thank the board and administration for giving me the opportunity to serve the students, staff, andSandusky community as the District Athletic & Activities Director at Sandusky City Schools. I am appreciative of myexperiences and the people I have met during my tenure here. The support our community gives to the programs andstudents is truly special. It has been a privilege and pleasure to work with so many wonderful individuals and families. GoStreaks!” Mr. Coakley has worked for the district for 12 years and has played a pivotal role in shaping the student-athletesin the district.
